I live in Russia. And I love my country. Yes, that trite) It became obvious to me only in 2022, when my country decided to start a war that caused and will cause death, destruction, and grief in millions of families on both sides of the border. It was Meduza that was with me all this time - from February 24th and until today. In our time, when almost all proud journalistic publications do not shy away from one-sided statements and outright distortion of facts, such media for us, Russians, are simply like a breath of fresh air. We want to receive information not from our TV, and at the same time not listen to "genetic slavery, imperiousness, you-are-to-blame, you deserved the rockets, how can one write about this when children are dying in Ukraine" and other openly propagandistic clichés. Please support those people in whom we can still see our own - journalists who try to be honest with everyone, and not just fulfill someone's order. The future belongs to justice and humanity.
