I am not 18 years old, I am from Russia. Unlike teenagers in other countries, I cannot freely travel the world, make friends from other countries, and learn languages through my own experience. I cannot go to Europe, where the history of our planet was made, I cannot go to Greece, where it originated. I cannot go to see a painting exhibition in the Louvre. I want to eat at a real McDonald's. And this is far from everything. Perhaps my desires are mundane. But I don't understand why, because of my country's government, which I did not elect, I cannot do this. And the scariest thing I'm afraid of is that I won't live to see the end of this horror, that it won't end. Now imagine what additional pressure all this situation with the war and Russia's closure, internet blockages, puts on those who are in a difficult emotional state, for example, everything is going downhill with their studies, or the loss of a loved one. It can even go as far as self-harm, and what's more, it already has. Is there anything I can do in the current situation on my part? Write this letter. Go out to a picket or a rally? My whole life would go down the drain. Sorry, friend, I am not ready to sacrifice that. Can you do something? Help convey the truth to Russians.
