But at one moment everything ended abruptly in 2014, when Russia started the war. Back then I was too young to fully understand something, but it was clear to me from the very beginning that killing, destroying my family's city is a great tragedy, for me and first and foremost for my loved ones. Now there are fewer and fewer ways to stay in touch with family. Fewer and fewer places where I can find out what is happening in Ukraine.
