I have been writing for Meduza for over five years. It seems to me, we sized each other up for a long time: they rarely covered architectural topics, and I doubted that I could handle working with general interest media. What started as an adventure turned into a full-fledged collaboration. We have published dozens of extensive articles on a wide variety of topics — from the history of individual buildings and architects to meticulous analyses of destruction in Russia's war against Ukraine and spatial analytics of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. I cannot imagine what other media outlet would allow me such a level of freedom and to grow so much — and I know that many colleagues would agree with me.
