This is very important for me, as I think it is for thousands of other people who remained in Russia to have a window of connection with reality, at times, however awful and sad it might be. But "Meduza", for me personally, is not merely a news resource, but also a place online where I see: that I am not alone in my thoughts, feelings, and circumstances; that I am not insane in my desires for all of this to stop; that there behind the door of my one-room apartment, amidst a sea of malice, hatred, and indifference, there are those in whom a spark of hope for the better still burns!
