In the 2000s, it seemed to me that the country would always be roughly the same—large, open to the world, and relatively free. Time passed, changes came, and now I can only watch as everything little that was good here has collapsed and is rotting away. The madness of crazed billionaires, the ruling party, the malice and hatred of so-called "patriots" have brought the situation to the state we can observe now. I sincerely and with all my heart believe that all this darkness will also one day wither and return to the abyss from which it emerged. I am convinced of this, but sometimes (since I am only a human, after all :)) I need to see that I am not alone in this darkness.
