Hello! I am an ordinary teenager from Russia, studying in 10th grade. Like many other people my age, I make plans, I have dreams. But unfortunately, many of them were crossed out on February 24th. In the first weeks of the war, I could not believe that everything captured in photographs and reports was happening for real. I could not comprehend that such cruelty was possible in the 21st century: I did not know whom to believe: parents, teachers at school and many classmates supported the war, but I felt that it was all untrue. But what independent media showed finally convinced me who the aggressor truly was. By spring 2022, many social networks were blocked, but Telegram worked well. I subscribed to 'Meduza,' and now I regularly read their reports. I am very grateful to the project team, because otherwise, I, probably, would have been a completely different person, would not have learned what everyone should know… Please, support 'Meduza,' because thanks in part to them, true information reaches Russia, despite all blockades and prohibitions, do not leave us without the last open window.
